Deal hijacked: Man United hijacked Arsenal and Man City transfer as player signs 4-years deal with option to the extend

After submitting their “opening” offer, Manchester United is reportedly “closing in” on signing Bayern Munich player Noussair Mazraoui.

Man Utd has already spent around £90 million this summer to get Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna and Lille as well as Leny Yoro. Additionally, they are very close to signing Chido Obi-Martin, a former Arsenal player.

After placing seventh in the Premier League the previous season, co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his new-look recruitment team are working on numerous more signings for the Premier League giants in an effort to ensure they have a far stronger season.

To sign centre defender Matthijs de Ligt and right back Mazraoui, they are now in negotiations with Bayern Munich. Man United has made a “opening joint bid” for the two players, according to information released by David Ornstein of The Athletic on Friday morning.

West Ham United, a rival team in the Premier League, is vying for Aaron Wan-Bissaka; Mazraoui is being considered as a possible alternative.

Although it has been suggested in recent days that the Hammers are getting closer to acquiring the right-back, Football Insider claims that the acquisition has been “delayed” due to Inter Milan, one of the biggest teams in Serie A, “hijacked” the agreement.

The report provides an explanation.

“Both clubs are working hard to close the deal before the start of the season on August 16.”

The player’s choice, meanwhile, is still a deal-killer since Wan-Bissaka is rumoured to prefer a move elsewhere despite Inter Milan’s interest.

“The player will have the last say in the matter as long as the clubs are still in negotiations.” The Hammers are offering more like £10 million, while United is hoping to get £15 million out of the trade.

Wan-Bissaka will take his time before committing to a deal with West Ham, although sources claim an agreement is anticipated to be concluded between the two parties soon.

Although there is still expectation that Wan-Bissaka will leave Old Trafford this summer, negotiations with West Ham will need to persuade him to switch, even in the face of other offers.

“The Hammers do not want a repeat of the failed attempts to persuade Mazraoui to join the club this summer before United opened talks.”
