The recently established board of Manchester United has given their approval for the acquisition of Michael Olise, a winger from Crystal Palace.

The board, consisting of Sir Dave Brailsford and Jean-Claude Blanc, has commenced the process of identifying summer transfer targets subsequent to Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s purchase of a 27.7% stake in the club.

The agreement grants Ratcliffe’s INEOS team complete authority over football operations, including the final say in transfer decisions.

United’s transfer budget will be contingent upon their qualification for the Champions League and the amount of revenue they can generate from player sales. However, INEOS has already begun making judgments regarding specific areas.

United is facing difficulties on the right flank because to Antony’s underwhelming performances following his £85 million transfer from Ajax, as well as the anticipated departure of Jadon Sancho this summer.

Olise, a 22-year-old football player, has performed exceptionally well at Crystal Palace ever since he transferred from Reading. It is worth noting that his contract has a release clause of £60 million.

According to reports, the Frenchman has shown a preference for joining Old Trafford instead of Chelsea or Liverpool. Additionally, Ben Jacobs claims that INEOS has given their approval for the winger’s transfer.

United will subsequently consider acquiring a centre-back and a fresh left-back, in light of the injury issues that Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia have experienced this season.

Manchester United will face Liverpool in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup on Sunday.

Harry Maguire, Rasmus Hojlund, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are all potential candidates for a return to the team following their recovery from injuries.

Mason Mount will be granted an extended period of time to recuperate, despite having resumed training.
