I should make way for them before January, but don’t blame me for not scoring goals. How can I score goals when all they need to do is pass to themselves, leaving me alone at the box? The one Chelsea player that is ruining his career at the club is revealed by Madueke. Threatening to go by January

On Saturday afternoon, Chelsea dominated Leicester City at the King Power Stadium. Against the Premier League newbies, the Blues had almost 70% of the possession and were in total control from the beginning.

Enzo Maresca, the manager of Chelsea, is making his first appearance at his former club since departing in the summer, thus it’s a rematch.

The visitors were rightfully given the lead in the fifteenth minute when Nicolas Jackson, with excellent footwork and poise, flicked away from Caleb Okoli and fired an outside of the right boot shot past Mads Hermansen.

Maresca’s team had several additional opportunities, and when Noni Madueke scored from inside the box in the 32nd minute, they believed they had taken a 2-0 lead. However, with the offside flag raised, the England international’s happiness was short-lived.

After a cutback, Madueke himself directed in the goal from within the area, hence he was not offside. How did it go offside, then?

Marc Cucurella was offside after Cole Palmer’s excellent through pass into the inside left channel. In order for Madueke to score, the Spaniard had to cut the ball back.

Cucurella was in an offside position throughout the build-up, therefore the VAR verified the referee’s ruling of no goal, according to the Premier League Match Centre on X.

Cucurella narrowly defeated James Justin in a close race. Madueke wasn’t impressed either. He was seen pointing a finger at Cucurella and yelling, “You offside,” during the live broadcast of the game on TNT Sports.

Although Leicester made a late comeback in the first half, Chelsea led 1-0 at the end of the first half.
