Chris Davies is under significant pressure in the Championship following a string of disappointing results.

The Blues are now 14th in the Championship after losing 3-0 to Sheffield United over the weekend.

As a result, Davies may face the sack at Birmingham City, with the manager having two games to preserve his job.

As a result, there is a potential the Blues will look for a new manager in the new year, with Frank Lampard being rated as an outsider by the bookmakers.

Frank Lampard is an outsider for the Birmingham City job.

Lampard has had a fantastic season to date.

The former Chelsea manager currently leads the league with Coventry City, who are the favourites to earn promotion this season.

This has not stopped the manager from being linked with a move away, with several Premier League clubs interested in Lampard.

Given Birmingham City’s lofty goals, it is not out of the question that they would try to lure the Coventry coach to the Blues’ dugout.

Nevertheless, the bookies believe this is an unlikely scenario.

Lampard is priced at 25/1 to take over at St. Andrew’s next, making him the 12th favourite.

Lee Carsley now has the greatest odds, at 7/2, followed by Gary O’Neil and Michael Carrick, both at 6/1.

Who are the current favourites to be fired next in the Championship?
Davies is currently the favourite to be terminated next in the Championship. His current odds are 5/4, with West Brom’s Ryan Mason following at 11/4.

Henrik Pedersen, the current Sheffield Wednesday manager, is next on the list at 5/1.

As a result of the Blues’ recent form, Davies is undoubtedly facing a difficult situation.

However, the manager has already turned things around, and he will fight every step of the way to save his job.

Hopefully, he can get a result against Derby County on Boxing Day, or it could be the last for the manager after achieving promotion last season.
