Goalie Andre Onana has called Ruben Amorim “a very positive coach” following Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town, which was his first game as Manchester United’s manager.

Marcus Rashford’s second Premier League goal of the season put United ahead of Ipswich with less than two minutes remaining. He gave Amorim the start of his dreams by turning home Amad’s cross from the right.

Omari Hutchinson’s long-range attempt, however, took a tiny deflection off Noussair Mazraoui and left Onana with no chance as United failed to build on their strong start and were tied shortly before halftime.

Without Onana, United would have lost at Portman Road. The Cameroonian made many excellent stops, the greatest of which kept Liam Delap out of the game before Hutchinson tied the score for the home team.

Onana feels optimistic about the future under Amorim’s direction, even though the United team was unable to earn all the points on Amorim’s first game in the dugout.

Onana told MUTV, “He is a very positive coach, and we are all happy to have him.” “He knows how to run a dressing room because he played years ago. We are all content and optimistic.

The United goalie went on to comment on the draw: “We have a lot of responsibility because we are Manchester United. We must be able to win games, and today we were unable to do so. It’s challenging.
