“He never disappoints Celtic.” When playing on the field, Andy Halliday, a 33-year-old midfielder for Motherwell F.C., provided his whole evaluation of Luke McCowan of Celtic.

Luke McCowan is getting the credit he deserves.

As a substitution, the Celtic midfielder made an influence on games despite not being a reliable player in his debut season.

In a similar vein, McCowan entered the game in the second half and scored the game-winning goal against St Mirren on Flag Day to start the new season.

He started and performed admirably for the whole ninety minutes of Friday night’s Celtic vs. Falkirk Premier Sports Cup triumph.

Halliday praises McCowan’s personality.
Andy Halliday told Open Goal that he has seen two things about McCowan this season after seeing a bit of the game.

The Motherwell midfielder believes McCowan will always give it his best on the field and never let Celtic down.

Although I didn’t watch the entire game, Luke McCowan seemed to I can understand why it’s so hard for him to establish himself on the team, considering how dominant Celtic is in that area of the pitch.

But when he performs, he never lets Celtic down, in my opinion.

Slane: “I think he’s ahead of Engels and Bernardo now.” Nygren, Hatate, and McGregor are the three, in my opinion, given Nygren’s recent start.

“But, in my opinion, Nygren is the first person to enter there now.”

Ferry remarked, “You know what, he gives you a lot more than Engels.” Take a peek at his enthusiasm.

Martin O’Neill supports McCowan for a more important Celtic role.
Just a few weeks ago, Celtic legend Martin O’Neill expressed his admiration for McCowan and said he thinks the former Dundee player can get better this season.

O’Neill said, “I have definitely seen him on television, but I wouldn’t have seen him live very often.” He should be commended for his tenacity, ascent, and inclusion in Celtic’s starting lineup.

Although I suppose my opinion won’t really matter because what matters is what the manager thinks of him, he does appear to be going to play a bigger role this season. And if that’s the case, wonderful for him.

“Now, you want to see a big improvement over the previous season, if that’s possible.

Halliday: “I believe that he plays with a desperate desire to win the jersey,” Halliday stated. He plays as if he wants to make an impact each time he steps onto the field or starts a game.
