Arsenal supporters are eagerly anticipating their club’s potential late acquisitions in the summer transfer market.

Chelsea, West Ham United, and Aston Villa have been the most influential in the transfer market, as they have successfully acquired a significant number of players.

However, Mikel Arteta and his Arsenal team have been rather uneventful, with only a handful of significant transfers completed by the London club before the market closes at the end of the month.

Arsenal made a notable acquisition in Riccardo Calafiori, but Emile Smith Rowe departed to join Fulham under the management of Marco Silva.

According to Darren Bent, there is one more move that Arsenal can complete, and he strongly advocates for it and would like to witness it.

Chelsea likely possesses the largest roster in the Premier League and has acquired a multitude of players — with no signs of halting their acquisitions.

Pedro Neto’s recent addition to Chelsea’s squad further strengthens their already well-equipped wide areas at Stamford Bridge. This raises the issue of whether this new arrival will lead to the departure of another player.

Bent proposed the inclusion of Raheem Sterling and expressed his want to see him join Arsenal.

The ex-forward asserted that Sterling is often spoken as if he were 35 years old, despite being only 29 and expected to be in the prime of his abilities.

Since the footballer, who has won the Premier League four times, transferred from Manchester City to Chelsea in 2022, both the player and his team have had significant difficulties.

However, Bent expressed his desire to sign him for the Emirates stadium, where he would compete with Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard for a place in the starting lineup, as he revealed in an interview with talkSPORT.

Raheem Sterling is currently playing for Arsenal.
“And he is merely 29,” said Bent. “I believe Sterling would be a valuable addition to Arsenal.” I am willing to accept the responsibility of taking care of him.

Deploying Sterling on the left flank at Arsenal: “Let me tell you something?! His age is just 29. I am not implying that he initiates every game, but to include him. Martinelli cannot be replaced since they must fight for that job.

Regarding the choice between Martinelli and Sterling, currently Martinelli is the preferred option. However, let’s be realistic! Sterling, positioned on the left, is a mere 29 years old. However, there is a tendency for others to discuss Sterling as if he were 35 years old. He has been involved in the industry for an extended period of time

Arsenal will complete the last adjustments to their transfer window.
It seems unlikely that the striker will come. Ivan Toney’s association with Arsenal has been severed, putting an end to any lingering speculation.

There is a possibility that the Brentford player may not secure a transfer at all, as Tottenham has already acquired Dominic Solanke. It is uncertain where the Brentford player will go next.

According to sources, HITC has learned about Arsenal’s desired timeline for completing the Mikel Merino deal. The Euro 2024 champion is nearing a transfer to the Emirates.

This might perhaps be the last acquisition made by Arsenal during the transfer window unless there are any significant departures from the club.
