How Brendan Rodgers and Paul Tisdale work behind-the-scenes at Celtic

The absence of serious business has left Celtic fans furious with the board as they watch their most gifted players, such as Nicolas Kuhn, leave for top pay.

When things aren’t going well at Celtic, the Scottish press and the club’s detractors love to disseminate rumors about what’s going on behind the scenes at Parkhead.

However, ACSOM’s John ‘Yogi’ Hughes has revealed what he knows about Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers’ contact with football doctor Paul Tisdale.

Brendan Rodgers and Paul Tisdale are ‘bosom pals’ at Celtic.
Rodgers has made it obvious that he needs to strengthen Celtic’s first-team roster, but just two players (Benjamin Nygren and Kieran Tierney) can be considered legitimate first-team additions.

So, as frustration mounts and fingers are pointed at Celtic for a lack of transfers, big John dispels one notion based on what he’s heard from people with club links.

Big John stated on A Celtic State of Mind, “But I also learned a few things.

Rodgers and Tisdale appear to be very close friends. Tisdale is essentially his appointment.

“They work extremely closely together. So it is not the case that they are working on separate agendas.

“That’s not happening at all.”

It’s fantastic to hear that Rodgers and Tisdale have a great connection at Celtic, and perhaps this will bear fruit before the summer transfer window ends on September 1st.
