‘I already rejected Arsenal transfer once – but now I could solve their striker problems’

As a result of Gabriel Jesus’ long-term injury, Arsenal’s striker position is becoming increasingly dire. According to reports, the Gunners have made an offer for a forward who turned them down precisely three years ago.

In January of this year, Arsenal is rumoured to have made a bid to acquire the services of Dusan Vlahovic, three years after the striker turned down Arsenal in favour of Juventus.

However, despite the fact that they are in severe need of a striker, the Gunners have not yet made a purchase during the winter transfer window. As a result of tearing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) while playing against Manchester United, Gabriel Jesus will be sidelined for the remainder of the season.

As a result of his time spent playing for Juventus, Vlahovic has scored forty goals in the Serie A competition. And although it was previously anticipated that Arsenal would wait until this summer to complete their business in the pursuit of a striker, the fact that they are now dealing with an injury crisis and their hopes of winning the title have likely added a sense of urgency to the process of acquiring a prolific forward.

Benjamin Sesko, a great player for RB Leipzig, is reportedly Arsenal’s top long-term objective. Arteta was the one who sought the Slovenian international player during the summer of last year. However, Sesko, who had expressed a desire to continue playing in Germany for an additional year, will not be available until the conclusion of current season.

Another name that is frequently mentioned in connection with a transfer to the Emirates Stadium is Alexander Isak, who plays for Newcastle. However, Arsenal would be unable to match his rumoured record price tag of £150 million before the end of this month.
