I blame Arteta for starting him again today and preventing me from getting my first UCL hat-trick, not him.- Furious After costing Mikel Arteta his first-ever hat trick in the Champions League against Monacco, Bukayo Saka furiously tells him that he is tired of playing with a player who makes £180k per week.

In Arsenal’s 3-0 Champions League victory over Monaco at the Emirates, Bukayo Saka scored twice, but one of his teammates denied him his first-ever hat-trick for the squad.

After Kai Havertz ruined his chances of scoring his first-ever Arsenal hat-trick, Bukayo Saka made fun of him.

When his team defeated Monaco 3-0 in the Champions League, the Gunners academy graduate was outstanding. The victory puts the North Londoners in a very good position to perhaps earn a spot in the knockout stages’ automatic qualifying spots.

Saka scored first thanks to a straightforward finish from Gabriel Jesus’ low cross. His record now stands at nine goals and 13 assists across all competitions this season after he doubled his evening’s effort by exploiting a terrible mistake made by the opposition as they tried to play out from the back. Late in the game, the England winger may have even caught the match ball for the first time in his career.

Through deflections off of teammate Havertz and Monaco star Thilo Kehrer, his low effort toward goal found its way into the net. Now, Saka has mockingly attacked the German forward for interfering with his hat-trick.

However, he continues to think that his first treble is only a little distance away. “Yeah, just about!” he stated in an interview with TNT Sport. Havertz got in the way of it. But it’s coming, so don’t worry. It will arrive.

Saka was full of admiration for one of his teammates, even if he was left disappointed that he did not take home the match ball. Despite a continuing injury issue, Myles Lewis-Skelly, a graduate of the Gunners academy, was a surprising addition to the teamsheet.

He made an impression and even contributed significantly to Arteta’s team’s first goal. Saka was equally impressed after giving the young player some wise counsel prior to kickoff.

He continued: “I told him that this is his level and that he must play the game with confidence and without doubt. We observe his training activities.

He was instrumental in the first goal, and we are happy for him. All he has to do is continue. I’m so proud of him.

When the Gunners return to Premier League play this weekend, Saka and Lewis-Skelly will both be looking to build on their impressive individual performances. They may reduce the distance to table-topping Liverpool to just three points with a victory when they host struggling Everton at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
