“I have to say this even though I know Arsenal fans might attack me”- Manchester United Legend Wayne Rooney criticizes £50M Arsenal star who has ‘done nothing’ for two good years according to him

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is allegedly willing to shed up to three senior first-team players during the next January transfer window.

According to reports, Arsenal trio Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Kieran Tierney may be available for sale this winter.

This Arsenal hero isn’t welcome back!

Mick Brown, a former Manchester United and Tottenham scout, told Football Insider what he’s heard about Arsenal’s January plans.

Arsenal supporters will be interested to learn that major names like Jesus and Zinchenko, who not long ago appeared to be vital additions for Arteta to steer the club into an exciting new age, are suddenly judged surplus to needs.

In some ways, this demonstrates how far Arsenal has progressed since those two signed from Manchester City in the summer of 2022, but it also raises the danger of losing three senior players at once.

It may not work exactly as planned because January is often quieter than July, but Brown has intimated that the north London giants are willing to let these three players leave.

Arsenal’s mass January exodus?
“There are three players at the club they would like to sell,” Brown told Football Insider.

“That’s Gabriel Jesus, Zinchenko, and Kieran Tierney.” They are not in the manager’s plans.

“When it comes to sales, you have to look at who your assets are.”

He said, “That’ll take a big chunk off the wage bill and help them reinvest in strengthening their squad.”

“Sometimes the way it works is you’ve got to let some fringe players leave, raise a bit of money from them, and then refresh the squad with new backup options.”

Jakub Kiwior is another Arsenal player whose status is uncertain ahead of January, as revealed by Charles Watts yesterday.
