Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has unexpectedly acknowledged that he is also at risk of job loss.

The Portuguese coach has been in the Old Trafford dugout since November 11th, managing many matches after departing from Sporting CP to assume the role of Erik ten Hag’s permanent replacement.

Amorim’s tenure has been unsuccessful, as United has lost 50% of his matches, exited the EFL Cup, and fallen to 14th place in the Premier League.

United’s last setback was in a 3-1 home loss to Wolves last week, placing them nearer to the relegation zone than the top four.

Ruben Amorim reveals remarkable disclosure regarding Manchester United.

Despite his challenges thus far, United is unlikely to contemplate dismissing Amorim, who has a long-term mandate to revitalise the fortunes of the Red Devils, who have suffered dismal league performance for around two years.

However, Amorim, at 39 years of age, is acutely cognisant that failure to achieve results will result in the loss of his position.

“The manager of Manchester United can never be comfortable, regardless of the circumstances,” stated Amorim (via Sky Sports). “I am aware of the industry in which I operate.” If we do not achieve victory, regardless of whether they fulfil the buyout provision for me, every manager is at risk.

“I appreciate that, as it aligns with our responsibilities.” I comprehend the inquiry. I have been here for a month and have completed four training sessions, although we are not achieving victories. That is the fact, and I am perfectly at ease with it.

Prior to Manchester United’s imminent match against Newcastle, Amorim emphasised that his objective necessitates ‘time.’

“The concept requires time,” he continued. I already informed you all that this will be a challenging period, and we are far from its conclusion. We must persist and concentrate on the forthcoming match.
