“I regret to inform you that he is no longer able to work under me at Man United.”Erik Ten Hag uncovers misplaced £63 million breaks the Man United star’s heart and orders him to find a new team by January—it’s game over

According to Sabah, Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho is closely collaborating with the team’s sporting director on a possible transfer involving Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof.

The Sweden international was frequently mentioned as perhaps leaving Old Trafford throughout the summer, and there were rumors that he might see Mourinho again in Istanbul.

Still, a transfer never happened. The 30-year-old did not return to the bench until late September after suffering a toe ailment during the preseason.

Against Aston Villa, Lindelof made his first appearance of the season. After the break, he took Noussair Mazraoui’s spot at right back, where he played for 53 minutes.

Mario Branco, the sporting director of Fenerbahce, is allegedly scouting potential targets and has Mourinho and Lindelof on his radar.

Since his contract ends in the summer of next year, they are keeping a careful eye on his status. In January, Fenerbahce will have the liberty to discuss a pre-contract with the Swede.

It’s unclear if the team wants him now or will hold off until the end of the campaign.

Most likely, Lindelof will transfer for free.
Over the last eighteen months, defense injuries have been a major problem for United, and this tendency has persisted.

Since Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw are still out, Erik ten Hag is compelled to play left-back Diogo Dalot.

Harry Maguire has left the team, but Lindelof has only lately returned from injury. He developed a calf problem last weekend, and he will be out for several weeks.

Due to a foot ailment sustained during the preseason, Leny Yoro has not yet made his competitive debut.

Given the necessity for depth in case of unexpected injuries, United is unlikely to consider Lindelof’s departure in the middle of the season.

Due to their previous history of injuries, Lisandro Martinez and Matthijs de Ligt are also risky players, and the club cannot afford to weakeneden their roster in the upcoming transfer window.

Lindelof could have to wait for a free move in the summer of 2019 if he wants to work with the former United manager again. In January, a pre-contract may be agreed upon.

Next summer, United is most likely to add another young center-back to their roster.
