Manchester United has initiated discussions once again to acquire the services of Everton’s standout player, following their unexpected £60 million proposal in a surprising turn of events in the transfer market.
This week, the Premier League powerhouses are presenting a fresh offer of £60 million, which is rumored to encompass further incentives.

According to sources, Football Insider has been informed that Manchester United is hopeful that Everton will agree to this, despite the fact that the club from Merseyside rejected previous proposals earlier this summer.

The team that has won 20 times had their initial bid of £35 million plus additional payments rejected, and their subsequent bid of £50 million was also rejected.

Everton has assigned a value of over £80 million to the 21-year-old player this summer, despite receiving interest from rivals such as Manchester United and Manchester City.

According to Football Insider, the central defender and United had already reached an agreement on personal terms for a deal worth £160,000 per week during the transfer window.

Jarrad Branthwaite is set to become a part of Manchester United’s growing contingent of defenders. Leny Yoro was recruited by Erik ten Hag during the summer to bolster the defensive capabilities of the team.

It is said that Matthijs de Ligt is currently heading to England today with the intention of finalizing his anticipated move to Old Trafford.

Notwithstanding such moves, the club remains eager to include Branthwaite in their squad prior to the deadline day.

The club has been actively pursuing the England international over the summer, as his addition would offer three high-quality choices for Ten Hag in the upcoming season.

The potential arrival of three additional central defenders raises doubts about the future of several present players at Manchester United.
