Man United recieve huge transfer boost as summer target gets left out from the England team for the EUROs now free for ‘transfer talks’

Man United has received a significant boost in transfers as a summer target who was left off of England’s EURO squad is now available for “transfer talks.”
Jarrad Branthwaite, a target for Manchester United, is reportedly available for “transfer talks” as per a report by the Manchester Evening News.

The 21-year-old’s unexpected availability can be attributed to his exclusion from the England squad for the European Championship.

This season, the English defender made 41 appearances on defence for Everton, putting on a display. Because of his excellent form, many even predicted that he would qualify for the EUROs. He even scored three goals.

But according to England manager Gareth Southgate, Branthwaite is still too young.

In addition to the 21-year-old, the following players were passed over for a spot: James Maddison, Harry Maguire, Jarell Quansah, and Curtis Jones.

Surprisingly, Southgate selected 18-year-old Kobbie Mainoo for the EUROs despite thinking it’s too early for 21-year-old Branthwaite. Whatever the logic behind it, the Red Devils should be happy about this.

The manager of the Three Lions had previously stated that transfer negotiations would not begin for any of the England team’s players until after the European Championships. Branthwaite’s decision to stay puts United in a position to chase him four weeks ahead of schedule.

Really, all it means is that Manchester United can now afford to pay a premium for Branthwaite four weeks ahead of schedule. The Red Devils will have a difficult task ahead of them because other clubs are vying for the 21-year-old.

Branthwaite may not have had the best year, but he will undoubtedly play for England in the future.

Branthwaite’s failure to make the final team for the EUROs must be disappointing.

But now that he might be going to one of the biggest clubs in the world, his mood could shift very rapidly.
