In a north London derby that Arsenal must win, the Gunners will be playing Tottenham at The Emirates. However, Mikel Arteta will not have Gabriel Jesus available to play for them since Jesus has suffered a significant knee injury.

As a result of Gabriel Jesus’s inability to participate in the north London derby, Arsenal has decided to go with Kai Havertz as their starting quarterback.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that the Brazilian striker Jesus suffered a rupture to his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) during Sunday’s FA Cup match against Manchester United. As a result, it is quite possible that Jesus will miss the balance of the season.

Ever since he had returned to his previous level of athleticism, he had been in excellent shape. On the other hand, Havertz will be the one to play in the front line against Tottenham because the former Manchester City player is now sidelined for the foreseeable future.

Over the course of the weekend, the German was positioned on the right side of Arsenal’s front three, with Jesus playing the middle role. On the other hand, Raheem Sterling is the one who comes in on the right side for Arsenal in order to make room for Havertz to shift into the ninth position.

Despite the fact that Havertz appears to be in a position to lead the line for Arsenal in the short term, it is still unknown whether or not the club will attempt to acquire a new striker during the transfer window that occurs in January.

Due to the fact that they had chosen to keep their powder dry over the summer, it was speculated that they may choose to do so before Jesus was injured.

And Arteta has not yet ruled out the possibility of bringing in a new No. 9 player, adding that “We have very clear ideas of the players that we want, yes.” Arteta has failed to rule out any possibility. It happened before Gabi, and it happened with Gabi wounded right now; we have to wait and watch how things evolve before we can make any decisions.

“Obviously, we are losing two players who are very creative, very important, and very unpredictable for us, and that has an effect on the team. Jesus and Saka are both very important players for us.” That much is certain. We have been actively looking into what we can do to plan and strengthen the team, as well as to have an influence on the squad, if we are able to do so. This has been going on from the beginning of the window, and even before the window opened.

“Obviously the news of Gabi, that takes the scenario to another dimension as well because the time frame will be longer.”

Arsenal is presently seven points behind Liverpool at the top of the Premier League standings, and they may be tempted to make a significant transfer in January now that Manchester City is no longer in the running for the domestic championship.

Raya, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly, Partey, Rice, Odegaard, Trossard, Sterling, and Havertz are the players who make up Arsenal’s starting lineup.

Kinsky, Pedro Porro, Dragusin, Grey, Spence, Sarr, Bissouma, Bergvall, Kulusevski, Solanke, and Son (captain) are the players who make up the Tottenham playing lineup.
