New Update has emerged about Chelsea’s pursuit of Napoli star Victor Osimhen

A striker is the player that Chelsea is looking to get during the summer transfer window, and they have identified Napoli attacker Victor Osimhen as the player they want to acquire.

Following the appointment of Enzo Maresca as the new manager of the Blues, the club has been quite active during the summer.

They have signed a number of players, including Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Tosin Adarabioyo, and Marc Guiu, and they intend to continue their operation.

In light of the fact that the club struggled to score goals during the previous season, it is imperative that they acquire a new striker.

Despite the fact that Maresca and the Chelsea administration are committed to finding solutions to the problems that their team is experiencing, they would require Osimhen to change his position regarding the transfer.

The Nigerian attacker’s contract with the Serie A club includes a significant release clause that allows him to leave freely.

As a result of the fact that no team, including Chelsea, is interested in meeting that stipulation, the Premier League heavyweights are contemplating hiring the player on loan.

However, the striker is not interested in leaving the club on loan and will only contemplate leaving the Serie A giants permanently. He is not interested in a loan move away from the club.

The probable transfer of Osimhen to Stamford Bridge could take some time, as stated by Fabrizio Romano, who specialises in handling transfer transactions.

In the course of his appearance on Playback, Romano disclosed:

“I have been informed that the problem is not going to be settled today, tonight, Monday, or Tuesday. I do not believe that this will be the case. Osimhen and his agent have stated that they have no intention of coming on loan to Chelsea as of today, which means that it will take some time before we can fully comprehend what transpires between Napoli and Chelsea.

“Chelsea is aware that Madrid will make another attempt to get Romelu Lukaku, and they are also aware that discussions will continue. Nevertheless, the problem is not with Napoli at the moment. The problem lies with the player. Despite the fact that Napoli is willing to sell Osimhen, the player has expressed a desire to remain on loan.

Victor Osimhen is the kind of prolific attacker that Chelsea will need.
If the Blues are looking to make additions to their team in order to prevent another catastrophic season, the striker from Napoli would be the ideal player for them to acquire.

After showing signs of improvement over the course of the previous few months, they ended sixth in the league last year. However, they spent the majority of their time in the middle of the table.

During the summer of 2018, Stamford Bridge was in need of a change, and the club made the decision to bring in a new manager who adheres to the concept of possession-based football.

As a result of a new playing identity and some new arrivals, Chelsea supporters will be hopeful that the club’s fortunes will improve as a result of these changes.
