Prior to Celtic’s match against Sturm Graz, James Forrest discloses Brendan Rodgers’ “character” remark.
Celtic’s victory over Sturm Graz was a welcome change of pace.
Despite a terrible start in which Tomi Horvat opened the scoring with a spectacular strike, Liam Scales and Benjamin Nygren’s goals in the second half gave Brendan Rodgers’ team its first Europa League victory of the year.
Despite criticism for his remarks this week, Rodgers criticized the “experts outside” after the game and praised the team’s effort as “outstanding.”
His comparison of his Celtic team to a “Honda Civic” following their loss to Dundee had not gone over well. He didn’t think he needed to say sorry.
Additionally, one of his senior players shared his pre-game remarks from the Sturm Graz victory ahead of this weekend’s crucial top-of-the-table matchup against Hearts.
Before Celtic vs. Sturm Graz, James Forrest talks about Brendan Rodgers.
The Hoops’ domestic low point of the season was the Dundee loss, which was the first Celtic loss at Dens Park in 37 years.
The Celtic team was questioned in addition to Rodgers. Kieran Tierney and Callum McGregor, two important players, have come under fire.

James Forrest, another of his older players, has experienced every aspect of Celtic. Even though he is nearing the end of his career, he is frequently given praise for his work in the dressing room.
Before the victory over the Austrian team, Forrest shared Rodgers’ message to the Hoops players in an interview with Sky Sports.
“That’s part of playing for a big club,” Rodgers added, addressing the guys he says he thinks about “every hour.” Things won’t always go as planned.
Before yesterday night’s game, the manager stated that challenging times are an opportunity for players to demonstrate their character and inner strength by persevering through them.
“I believe last night was a fantastic beginning. The boys did demonstrate that we were behind 1-0. Just to keep it in mind on Sunday.
“If you look at the games this season, I believe that in the past, we were probably ahead by one, two, or three goals at the half or in the first half.
That’s football sometimes. Teams are playing well against us and defending effectively. All we have to do is figure out how to get ahead.
Prior to Hearts, Rodgers was featured in the media.
Given that the Jambos lead Celtic by five points in the Scottish Premiership, it is no wonder that this weekend’s matchup with Hearts has garnered a lot of media attention.
In the media, Tony Bloom has been outspoken about his goals for the Edinburgh team, and its CEO has come across as assured.
Rodgers has maintained that he has “enough to worry about” in spite of this. He will be considerably more concerned if his team loses.
It’s difficult not to think that this game will be a turning point for Rodgers and Celtic given the injury issue that is developing this week.
