Real Reason Why Ruben Amorim has already upset dressing room after Man Utd star speaks out

In the Manchester United dressing room, Ruben Amorim has already caused a stir.

The players at Manchester United have already been informed by Ruben Amorim that they would not be getting their way under his leadership. Although many supporters viewed the Portuguese head coach’s decision to fire Ruud van Nistelrooy as essential, it was controversial with other sections of the fan base.

Because Van Nistelrooy established a close relationship with his players during his four-match tenure as interim manager, the latter sentiment is likely to have permeated the United locker room.

The Dutchman’s unexpected summer comeback was far shorter than anticipated, but it would have been welcomed behind the scenes just as much as it was among fans.

According to sources, the players wanted Van Nistelrooy to continue after United defeated Leicester City 3-0 on Sunday, his third in four games as interim manager.

He is reported to have been seen as their ‘connection’ to the coaching staff because of the way he interacted both during and after Erik ten Hag’s time as manager.

There was allegedly a surge of support, particularly from the squad’s key figures, to keep Van Nistelrooy on board in some manner.

Andre Onana, the custodian for United, even publicly begged Amorim on Sunday to keep the 48-year-old on board when he took over the next day.

“100 per cent,” Onana responded when asked whether the United players wanted Van Nistelrooy to remain at Old Trafford.

“He is an excellent instructor and a really decent man. He is greatly assisting us now that he is here. He gives us a lot of advice and has a wealth of knowledge. You know, since he’s here, he’s doing fantastic.

“He serves as our head coach for a few days, of course. Despite his differences, he’s doing fantastically. His work is excellent, and the players are content.

However, we are ultimately powerless to make that decision. We must accept the decision made by the club.

“But this has to be between him and the club because at the end of the day, they are the ones who have to sit at the table and decide what is best for the club.”

In fact, Amorim made the ultimate choice, choosing to disregard the feelings of his new players and split from Van Nistelrooy on his first day at Carrington.

The 39-year-old is anticipated to bring an analyst along with five members of his Sporting coaching group.
