There is a good chance that Conor Gallagher would have preferred to remain in west London after completing his training at the club’s academy.

An exit, however, is now unavoidable as a result of the failure to reach an agreement with Chelsea regarding a new contract. The 24-year-old player is currently in the final year of his contract, and the Blues will ensure that they do not lose him for nothing during the upcoming summer seasons.
