Expert commentator Gary Neville asserts that he lacks understanding on the rationale behind Chelsea’s acquisition during the previous summer.
During an interview with Sky Sports’ Fan Debate, he expressed his belief that the club’s acquisition of Romeo Lavia from Southampton was unnecessary, given the existing players currently present in the team.
Lavia’s inaugural stint at Stamford Bridge has been marred by a series of injuries, resulting in him only making a solitary appearance this season.
