Chelsea, a club that plays in the English Premier League, is reportedly continuing its efforts to acquire the services of Victor Osimhen, a striker who has previously played for both Napoli and the Super Eagles, before the start of the new season.

Despite the fact that the 25-year-old player has expressed his desire to leave Napoli this summer, no club has been able to fulfil his release clause, which is around 130 million euros. The Italian club, on the other hand, is not willing to negotiate or cut the charge by any amount.

Chelsea, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain have all been unable to move further with their transfer negotiations with the 2023 Scudetto champions because of differences of opinion regarding the players they are evaluating.

According to The Sun, Chelsea, which is looking for a striker, has reached an agreement with Atletico Madrid to acquire Samu Omorodion for a fee of £34.5 million. The deal would see the 20-year-old striker sign an eight-year contract with the club, which has won the UEFA Champions League twice.

In his column for Caught Offside, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano said that Chelsea are still in negotiations with Napoli over a possible move for Osimhen, but the only option for them to continue is with a loan or another kind of creative formula. Romano went on to say that Napoli is the only alternative for Chelsea to continue negotiations.
