(Video) Roy Keane lays into Robertson’s post-match interview; ‘it’s all just rubbish coming out’

Being unafraid to voice his opinions, Roy Keane had no shortage of things to say on Scotland’s loss to Germany.

The 52-year-old remarked on ITV Sport: “Andy Robertson said they had a game plan at the conclusion of the game, which is nice to have.

He remarked, “You have to be aggressive in a football game. They weren’t aggressive enough. Being aggressive is a necessary quality for a football player when facing a much stronger opponent.

“Talking about how we had a game plan after a game is pointless! Andy Robertson, everything you’re saying is pure garbage.

“It’s not acceptable to say, ‘We’ll regroup and we’ll be upset tomorrow,’ after the game since you knew beforehand what was at risk.

“No, you ought to be furious for a very long period. They talked about making history before the game, so by playing so poorly, they are definitely making history!

It’s safe to assume that neither his team’s performance nor Andy Robertson’s post-game interview pleased the former Manchester United player.

Our left back will now have to step up on the pitch and make sure that our performances against Switzerland and Hungary are significantly better.
