‘We can’t afford to loose this one again’: Arsenal ‘in the running’ to sign £24m star Player wanted by Bayern Munich – player wants Champions League football

The Ivorian is now anticipated to depart Selhurst Park when his contract expires in June, having been linked for numerous years to a high-profile move away from the stadium.

Arsenal is reportedly interested in signing the former Manchester United player, but there are other major European teams that are also interested, according to Foot Mercato.

The 30-year-old is also being pursued by Bayern Munich, Monaco, and Borussia Dortmund. He wants to play Champions League football for his next team.

Not likely

Zaha has made a name for himself as one of the Premier League’s top wingers. One of the best dribblers, the forward has given opponents a lot of trouble.

It remains to be seen if Arsenal will resurrect their long-term pursuit of him, but he is now willing to take on a greater task in the latter stages of his career.

In the summer of 2019, the London giants attempted to sign him from Palace, but they were forced to withdraw before they could buy Nicolas Pepe from Lille for a record cost.

Although it has proven to be an expensive move to choose Pepe over him, we wouldn’t be shocked if the team decided to bring Zaha back at the end of the season.

Zaha is no longer at the top of his game as seen by his season total of just six goals and two assists.

The £24 million player has shown flashes of brilliance during his time at Palace, but as the previous few seasons have shown, he has not been at his best.

Zaha would be a great addition for Arsenal, but we don’t think they would pursue him. The responsibility might lie in landing future stars.
