Another Premier League team, Manchester United, is actively participating in the transfer market.
According to a report by the Evening Standard, West Ham, a Premier League team, has reached an agreement to acquire Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville for a contract valued at £25 million, with additional payments based on performance. The Hammers are nearing a transfer deal for the winger from the Championship.

In addition to his current pursuits, Julen Lopetegui is also actively involved in negotiating deals for Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Old Trafford and Niclas Fullkrug from Borussia Dortmund, according to Sky Sports. The latter, referring to a specific individual, attracted attention during Euro 2024 as the host country Germany. It is possible that this individual is now in the process of moving to England.

Given that Wan-Bissaka is currently 27 years old and has only one year remaining on his contract at United, it would be a prudent option to allow him to depart at this time. It signifies that the club will receive a monetary compensation for him instead of losing him without any payment within the next 12 months. Summerville might perhaps join the Red Devils player as a teammate at the London Stadium. The 22-year-old player garnered attention at Leeds during the previous season and achieved a total of 23 goals across all competitions.

He assisted Daniel Farke’s team in reaching the play-off final. Nevertheless, they were defeated at Wembley by Southampton and failed to secure promotion to the highest division. Earlier this year, Farke praised his exceptional season, highlighting his impressive performances, productivity, and dedication to the squad. He emphasised the importance of consistently delivering in both matches and training sessions to maintain a high level of performance in the league.

“Consistency is key in maintaining a high level of performance, both during training sessions and in terms of adopting healthy habits in nutrition, sleep, and recovery.” There is no need to discuss the potential of Cree, as his potential is limitless. However, it is essential to demonstrate consistency. It is not a mere chance that he has successfully completed numerous final goods.

Joining West Ham would provide him with an opportunity to demonstrate his abilities at the highest level. He will have gained advantages from his experience in the second level at Elland Road. Regarding Wan-Bissaka, a change of environment will be beneficial for him as well. His tenure at United has been marked by setbacks and disappointments. The Red Devils acquired him in 2019 after he impressed at Crystal Palace. He has accumulated a total of 190 appearances across all competitions, with 30 of them occurring in the previous season.

He ascended through the ranks of the academy of Crystal Palace and consistently played for them in different young levels. In 2016, he successfully joined the first-team of the Eagles and subsequently participated in 46 matches across various tournaments before relocating to a northern region.

Lopetegui may view Wan-Bissaka as a potential addition to strengthen his defensive unit. If the London outfit is able to finalise a deal, he has the potential to be an astute acquisition. The departure of former Manchester United manager David Moyes earlier this year marks the beginning of a new era at the London Stadium.
