After being excluded from the matchday squad once more, Marcus Rashford’s future at Manchester United is still up in the air. The striker is unhappy with the way the Red Devils are handling the situation.

The fact that Manchester United has informed clubs of Marcus Rashford’s potential availability has left him angry.

Ruben Amorim excluded the forward from the matchday squad for the third time in a week. Rashford’s attitude and interactions with his teammates were listed by the new manager as reasons for leaving him out of the squad for the Manchester derby victory eight days ago.

Since then, the Englishman has stated in an interview that he would like to take on a “new challenge”. According to the MEN, Rashford’s close associates have accused United of telling clubs about his availability while he was not informed of the changes.

Despite being a top earner at the club, the United forward has had trouble performing. Rashford’s goals have slowed down, and because Amorim is now in charge and will probably bring in his own players come summer, it seems more likely that he will go than stay.

The Manchester team has not yet decided whether or not to sell Rashford, and according to sources, no specific discussions about his departure have taken place with intermediaries. However, they acknowledge that given the commotion surrounding his future, it is likely that the Rashford situation was brought up.

In the Bournemouth defeat, Gary Neville acknowledged that he was no longer shocked to see Rashford passed over as his most recent rejection. He declared, “Rashford’s absence isn’t really surprising anymore.” It’s a common occurrence. Something is seriously wrong, or has gone wrong, if you leave him out for three straight games.

Marcus’s future at the club and Manchester United’s ability to retain him are not looking good. I have a suspicion that the adventure is nearing its unavoidable conclusion.

Amorim has said in public that Rashford needs to get back to his previous level and that the team would be better off without him. “We have a new challenge here, and it’s a tough one as we are in a difficult situation. It’s the biggest challenge in football,” he remarked. Indeed, this is a novel challenge. With this new challenge, I hope all of my players are prepared.

“My objective is to achieve victory and enhance the team’s performance, particularly by optimizing Marcus Rashford’s contributions. We are implementing various strategies to elevate Marcus to the exceptional level he has demonstrated previously.”
