‘I rejected Real Madrid and the No.9 shirt – I could now join Chelsea in a swap deal’

He previously turned his back on Real Madrid, one of the most powerful clubs in Europe, but now Mathys Tel is firmly on the radar of Chelsea and Enzo Maresca for the January transfer window.

Chelsea is reportedly interested in Mathys Tel, who is now playing for Bayern Munich. This transfer might result in Christopher Nkunku leaving the club in the opposite way.

Before Tel moved to Germany, there were rumours that the Bernabeu was interested in him as a player who could play there. Nkunku’s record in the German top division makes for fantastic reading, as he recorded 47 goals and 43 assists in 119 games for RB Leipzig.
