Breaking News: Mikel Arteta has SENT a clear message for Arsenal’s hierarchy after the draw with Aston Villa in comparison with Liverpool

Mikel Arteta has conveyed a distinct message to Arsenal’s management following the draw against Aston Villa.
Mikel Arteta acknowledges that Liverpool’s depth has significantly influenced the Premier League title race following Arsenal’s 2-2 stalemate with Aston Villa on Saturday.
Arsenal were poised to achieve victory at the Emirates Stadium, having established a two-goal advantage over Villa, courtesy of Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz.
Villa reduced the deficit with a goal from Youri Tielemans, followed by Ollie Watkins equalising for Unai Emery’s team with a close-range strike in the 68th minute.
The outcome currently positions Arsenal six points off of Premier League leaders Liverpool, who secured a 2-0 victory against Brentford earlier on Saturday, courtesy of two injury-time goals from Darwin Nunez.
Arne Slot’s team could increase their lead to nine points if they secure victory in their match in hand.
When queried about the significance of Liverpool’s victory and Arsenal’s draw in the title battle, Arteta responded: ‘Indeed, there are critical moments; they successfully achieved that.’
The substitutes influenced the match, enabling Liverpool to alter the game’s dynamics.
On our part, the situation was contrary; despite surrendering two goals in quick succession, the threat arose from my awareness that half the team was physically exhausted, which could lead to a decline in performance.
Unexpectedly, the team discovered an additional level of intensity, dominating Aston Villa and persistently seeking the elusive goal that had previously evaded them.
Arteta was again enquired about the pressure on Arsenal to finalise a deal, as Raheem Sterling was the sole senior offensive alternative on the bench.
“Currently, I am not focused on the outcome,” Arteta stated.
“Upon examining the performances, I am uncertain how many teams are competing at this level within the league.”
“Upon observing the bench, you likely conclude that we are significantly lacking in numbers.”
