BREAKING NEWS: Medical examination scheduled for the arrival of new Manchester United signing.Manchester United has triumphed over Liverpool and Manchester City in securing the record signing of £70 million for the South American superstar, with an agreement finalised and jersey number selected – HERE WE GO.

Manchester United has commenced activity in the winter transfer window following yet another home loss to Brighton in the Premier League.

As reported by Tutto Mercato Web last night, Manchester United will talk with Lecce’s agents today regarding the transfer of Patrick Dorgu.

The Italian media outlet has said that the Serie A club is demanding a sum of £33.8 million (40 million euros) for their valuable player.

Napoli is interested in the 20-year-old prodigy, intending to finalise an agreement immediately to capture the player for the summer, a scenario favoured by Lecce.

TMW asserts that if Manchester United presents an offer of £33.8 million, Lecce will transfer Patrick Dorgu to the Old Trafford club within the ‘next few days.’

Should Manchester United acquire Patrick Dorgu?
Ruben Amorim must acquire players compatible with his 3-4-2-1 formation to enhance performance, with the left wing-back position requiring reinforcement.

Natural left-backs, Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, exhibit significant injury susceptibility and, hence, cannot be depended upon. In their absence, Dalot, a natural right-sided player, has occupied the left wing-back position.

Patrick Dorgu is inherently left-footed and has predominantly played in the left-back position throughout his career.

In the current campaign, the youthful player has predominantly occupied the right wing position for the Italian team. To date, in 20 league matches, he has scored 3 goals and registered 1 assist.

Manchester United has conceded 32 goals in 22 Premier League matches this season and requires a seasoned left wing-back to strengthen the position, rather than an untested player like Dorgu. What is your opinion?
