JUST IN: Arsenal have FINALLY agreed personal terms with Top European striker, who Netted 18goals this season, Jersey number picked last night – as Deal set to be done in the next 24hrs

As of last night, Arsenal have finally reached an agreement with a top European striker who has scored 18 goals this season. The striker’s jersey number was chosen last night, and the deal is expected to be finalised within the next twenty-four hours.
As a result of Newcastle’s interest in acquiring a new striker, Arsenal has received a message from Newcastle regarding their pursuit of Alexander Isak.
The Gunners have been heavily associated with Isak, who is 25 years old, ever since the summer of last year. In light of their troubles in front of goal, which have cost them back-to-back defeats against Newcastle and Manchester United this month – as well as their injuries to key attackers – the north Londoners’ determination to acquire the Swedish striker has only risen because of these challenges.
Isak, who has been in brilliant form this season with 15 Premier League goals to his name, has been a star for Newcastle, and the club has allegedly informed Arsenal that it would take a cost of more than £115 million for them to look into the possibility of parting ways with him.
On the other hand, it would appear that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been handed a boost in his pursuit of the rangy forward. It has been reported by The Chronicle that Newcastle are considering making a free transfer offer to Lille striker Jonathan David this summer. This information suggests that the club may be making preparations for life beyond Isak.
After being represented by a “high-level club employee” in the stands for Lille’s recent 2-1 victory against Nice, the source asserts that the Magpies made their “first move” for the forward. Nice was the team that Lille ultimately defeated. It has been reported that Newcastle has entered the competition to secure his signing once his current contract comes to an end at the conclusion of this season.
Although he has stated that he is open to a transfer to the Premier League in the summer, the Canadian international player has stated that he is not committed to heading to England. It is common knowledge that the Premier League is widely considered to be among the most prestigious leagues in the world, as David stated. To me, it is not a matter of the Premier League or nothing at all. I’m willing to try everything, and I understand that every league has its own set of problems.
The fact that he was able to pass his audition against Liverpool in the Champions League on Tuesday night would have undoubtedly left the Newcastle management team feeling impressed. The 25-year-old shown that he is capable of making an impact against the very best that the Premier League has to offer by scoring at Anfield to cancel out Mohamed Salah’s initial goal. Harvey Elliott then completed the victory over a Lille team that was already down to 10 men.
There is a lack of clarity regarding whether Newcastle would view David as a replacement for Isak or as a partner for him in the front line. Whatever the case may be, Eddie Howe would become less dependent on the Swede if he signed David, which would leave him with the opportunity to potentially sell Isak for the appropriate price.
