‘I gave it all’ – Liverpool fans fear Mohamed Salah is saying goodbye as bombshell new interview drops
Liverpool supporters are concerned that Mohamed Salah’s most recent interview is the most significant indication yet that he will be departing Anfield at the conclusion of the ongoing season.
The Egypt international has maintained his impressive form at Liverpool, scoring 25 goals in the Premier League this season. His performance has not been affected by speculation regarding his future.
Salah has been the subject of a media frenzy for nearly the entire duration of this campaign, as the Merseyside club has failed to provide any updates regarding the expiration of the star’s contract.
The 32-year-old was questioned about his aspirations for his legacy prior to Liverpool’s match against Newcastle on Wednesday, which will be broadcast live on talkSPORT.
In an interview with TNT Sports, he stated, “I want the fans to remember that I gave everything I had.”
“I devoted everything to the city.” I was present, and I was not indulging in laziness; rather, I was simply engaging in football and giving it my all.
I believe that is the essence of the city: they show you love, and you establish a connection with them as a result of your unwavering commitment.
“I just want them to remember that I was here for eight years and I gave it all.”
When asked about his future at the club, he acknowledged that there was no update: “No, in a very polite manner.”
This has caused fans to fear the worst and believe that it is a sign that he will be leaving the club.
