Brendan Rodgers plays down Reo Hatate exit talk

Reo Hatate has gone under the radar this season after his excellent start to the 2025/26 campaign.

His goal against Aberdeen closed off another comfortable victory, and the midfielder is always appreciated from afar.

However, Brendan Rodgers has put an end to any speculation that the Japan international may leave before the conclusion of the window, stating that no offers have been received for Hatate.

He said, “I’m trying to get them in, let alone get them out!” We haven’t got anything for Reo.”

Bojan Miovski named as possible striker option for Celtic

Despite a lot of activity in the number nine position, there are still requests for a new striker to be brought in.

Callum Osmand and Shin Yamada signed this summer, and Johnny Kenny recently inked a new deal.

Adam Idah has started the opening two games but has failed to score, and Go Radio expert Richard Foster believes Bojan Miovski will assist boost the front line.

“Watching Miovski in games, his movement is brilliant,” the coach added. “He can sense where the space is. He’s constantly trying to play on defenders’ blind sides. He makes some extremely clever runs. He’s speedy and a good finisher.

“I like this idea. It’s a little different. I believe he is intelligent and technically proficient enough to play football for Celtic.”

Sondre Orjasaeter is scheduled to join FC Twente

Sondre Orjasaeter rejected down a move to Celtic in January, and since then, all interest in the Norwegian teenager has cooled.

The Sarpsborg talent has piqued the interest of several European clubs, but he will not be moving to Celtic Park.

According to reports in the Netherlands, Orjasaeter will join FC Twente this summer in one of the most costly transfers in the club’s history.
