Chris Sutton shares his thoughts over Nottingham Forest brutal sack of former Celtic Legend Ange Postecoglou

Chris Sutton has commented on Ange Postecoglou’s expulsion from Nottingham Forest.


The former Celtic Treble-winning manager was fired by owner Evangelos Marinakis barely 18 minutes after Forest’s 3-0 loss to Chelsea. Despite being the stronger team in the first half, Forest failed to capitalise on their opportunities, and Chelsea punished them with three goals after the interval to take all three points – a result that ultimately lost Postecoglou his job at The City Ground.



Postecoglou was appointed as Nuno Espirito Santo’s replacement in September, however his stint lasted only 39 days, as he lost all eight of his games in command.


Former Celtic striker and Sky Sports pundit Chris Sutton, a long-time defender of Postecoglou, once again supported him in his recent post on X (previously Twitter), stating simply:
