Man United is “Ready to Offer” PSG player £84 million in light of the close ties between Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig.

This summer, Manchester United is prepared to make Xavi Simons an offer of £84 million.

The deal can proceed since Sir Jim Ratcliffe has “given the go-ahead.”

Manchester United is reportedly ready to step up its pursuit of Xavi Simons and is thinking of offering £84 million (€100 million) to Paris Saint-Germain in exchange for the Dutchman, according to SPORT.

The Spanish source claims that the Red Devils intend to make an alluring offer to the Ligue 1 heavyweights in order to defeat Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig, two of Germany’s best teams, during the summer transfer window.

PSG is reportedly willing to prolong Simons’ loan to RB Leipzig, where he excelled the previous campaign and drew interest from top teams throughout the continent.

United’s bid of £84 million for the Dutchman would easily outbid Bayern’s, as SPORT understands the Bavarians are only willing to pay between £50 and £60 million for Simons.

It is now anticipated that United would add a new player to the middle of the park following the confirmation of the acquisitions of Joshua Zirkzee, a striker, and defender Leny Yoro.

The Red Devils and PSG’s Manuel Ugarte are in discussions to sign each other. Ugarte is expected to leave Sporting Lisbon for Parc des Princes in less than a year.
