According to Soccernet.ng, Arsenal has been linked to elite attackers throughout the summer transfer window, and it’s only a matter of time until they try to acquire Nigeria’s striking sensation Victor Osimhen.

The previous season shown that Mikel Arteta’s team would need to overcome more than Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus’s combined efforts to overcome Pep Guardiola’s unstoppable Manchester City. As such, the Gunners want attacking additions.

Although Ivan Toney, Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres, and Victor Osimhen have all been linked to the North London giants, they have not yet taken any firm action pertaining to any of these strikers.

Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sports claims that Arsenal can now submit a bid for Napoli attacker Osimhen shortly.

All summer long, PSG has been in the lead in the race to sign Osimhen; nevertheless, the French champions have not made much progress in their transfer talks with Napoli.

Although a few Saudi Arabian teams have long admired the Super Eagles forward, it is no secret that the 25-year-old’s dream is to play in the Premier League.

Osimhen has been a reliable goal scorer for the previous several seasons, and his strength, speed, intelligence, aerial prowess, and finishing touch will be a great asset to Arsenal’s offensive line.

The Nigerian striker led Napoli to a Serie A title victory in 2022–23, which marked their first league triumph in more than thirty years.

Osimhen, who is regarded as one of the top attackers in the world of football right now, has amassed an incredible 135 goals in his career, including 21 goals for the Nigerian national team, nine goals in the UEFA Champions League, and 65 goals in Serie A.

As the first Nigerian to win the title in 25 years, he is currently the reigning CAF Africa Footballer of the Year, having won it in December.
