Arsenal has returned to the drawing board after appearing to have missed out on the acquisitions of Benjamin Sesko and Nico Williams this summer.

It is believed that Mikel Arteta intends to enhance the calibre of his forward line before the end of August in order to establish a more diverse attack.

In that regard, it appears that Emile Smith Rowe will depart Arsenal for Fulham at the earliest opportunity, a departure that is both necessary and reluctant.

Even if Reiss Nelson is performing well in preseason, it is possible that the same will ultimately be said about him.

In addition to numerous other Premier League clubs, Leicester City is interested in Nelson from Arsenal.

Ultimately, it would be the correct decision for the Gunners to release another Hale-Ender, a player whom Arteta rarely trusts to start significant games.

Of course, Arsenal will undoubtedly require an addition if both depart.

Edu and his squad are reportedly currently in pursuit of Barcelona winger Raphinha, following the discovery that Williams is not interested in signing with Arsenal.

Target for Arsenal Raphinha implies that he is not yet prepared to depart Barcelona.
Although Arsenal is prepared to submit a proposal for Raphinha, it appears that the former Leeds United winger would not necessarily be amenable to the club’s efforts.

The Brazilian, who is valued at £50 million, expressed this sentiment after joining Barcelona for their preseason tour of the United States in the early hours of Monday morning.

Sport in Spain captured Raphinha’s arrival, which was particularly significant due to the significant hype surrounding his prospective departure from the club.

The former Premier League winger has been identified as a player who could be sold in order to generate funds, as Barcelona is currently experiencing difficulties with FFP.

Nevertheless, it appears that Raphinha may require some persuasion to adopt those strategies.

When asked about his future by the Spanish outlet, Raphinha responded simply, “I am eager to collaborate with [Hansi] Flick.”

These remarks do not appear to be those of a player who is eager to depart the esteemed Catalan club in a hurry, despite the fact that he is still under a three-year contract.

There is no doubt that Raphinha would be an exceptional addition to Arsenal. However, Edu and Arteta are unlikely to be interested in recruiting a player who would be reluctantly departing his current team.

Despite this, his current club has recently excluded a different Arsenal target from preseason.
