Amad has made an unexpected choice regarding his future at Manchester United after switching agents throughout the summer.
After switching agents this summer, Amad makes an unexpected decision about his future at Manchester United.
According to Amad Diallo, he would adore to spend “all his life” at Manchester United.
Manchester United’s Amad Diallo, a winger, has declared that he would be happy to play for the squad forever.
The Ivorian spoke with the media on Tuesday night prior to Manchester United’s game against Real Betis at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, California. Amad has started two of the three preseason games Manchester United have played so far.
He completed his amazing performance against the Scottish powerhouse by scoring against Rangers and then putting on another fantastic display against Premier League rivals Arsenal.
Erik ten Hag, unusually, did not go to the press conference with Amad. In order to secure Amad’s long-term commitment to United, a new contract could be extended to him soon.
The forward said, “Yeah, why not,” in response to a question about whether he plans to continue after his current contract expires in the summer of 2025 (via The Manchester Evening News). This is my happy place. Because I smile and have a positive spirit, I believe that everyone is delighted with me. Why don’t I live here forever?”
Amad talked about the injuries he had experienced during the previous year’s preseason, which kept him sidelined for five months.
Amad had to settle for a bench spot for the most of the campaign once he returned to action, but as the season progressed, he witnessed an improvement in his status and importance within the club.
“Last season, I suffered an injury during the preseason, which was not easy for me. After a protracted absence, the most crucial thing was to re-enter the team stronger and, ultimately, feel satisfied with my work. I’m concentrating about the present and have forgotten about the past.
“I believe in the manager, and I am really excited and motivated to start the season.” I know I didn’t play much the previous season, but I’m really excited to get started this year because I know it will be great for everyone.
“I think everyone wants to play, so in training you need to put everything in to fight and start in the XI,” the 22-year-old continued.
It is everyone’s desire to play. Since Antony, Sancho, Garnacho, and Rashford are all talented players on our team, the manager will ultimately determine who plays and who is benched.
“However, even if you are not playing, you still need to be prepared since you may watch the game from the bench. Every member of the team matters.
It’s highly likely that Amad will start for United against Betis in the wee hours of Thursday.
