Personal terms agreed: Man United agree to pay up to £60 million to sign 26-year-old talented midfielder

Manchester United is reportedly prepared to pay up to £60 million to get Teun Koopmeiners, an Atalanta midfielder, this summer, according to Calciomercato.

The Red Devils will likely make a lot of changes during the transfer season, and one of their top goals might be a significant midfield addition.

One of Arne Slot’s old teammates, Koopmeiners, is apparently willing to pay a hefty price to Man United in an attempt to outbid the Reds, so he may need to move quickly to get him to Liverpool.

Slot, who replaced Jurgen Klopp as manager at Anfield, hopes to have an impact on the Liverpool squad.

Liverpool intends to make a move for the Dutch midfield player during the summer transfer window, according to Tutto Juve.

Man United and Liverpool are willing to immediately pay between £51 million and £60 million for Koopmeiners, but it would not be enough to persuade Atalanta.

Should Koopmeiners perform well for the Netherlands, Atalanta can request more than £60 million in light of the European Championship in Germany.

The Dutchman is being chased by several teams outside of the Premier League. He scored double digits in Serie A from midfield for the second consecutive year.

The 26-year-old is allegedly open to staying in Serie A and prefers Juventus.

The midfielder was at AZ Alkmaar in the Dutch division where he worked with the new manager of Liverpool, Slot.

Koopmeiners had one of his best seasons ever in 2019–20, scoring 16 goals across all competitions, under Slot’s direction.

It is advisable to sign for Liverpool rather than Manchester United.
The youngster has a lot of options, but joining Liverpool to play for his former coach and fellow countryman seems like the greatest fit.

The Atalanta star is the perfect midfield player the Reds have been looking for to help out in the closing third of the game.

The player was glimpsed by Liverpool supporters during Atalanta’s elimination of the Merseyside club from the Europa League, when he had an outstanding performance in both games.

The race to recruit the Serie A midfielder will certainly intensify as the transfer window draws near.
