As a result of the need to find a replacement for Raphael Varane, Manchester United ultimately decided to acquire Leny Yoro from Lille in the previous month.

The situation at Old Trafford is complicated by the fact that the 18-year-old player sustained an injury that will prevent him from playing for several weeks. As a result, the club is currently in need of a substitute for their newly acquired player.
Matthijs de Ligt’s name has been mentioned in connection with Manchester United for a considerable amount of time, particularly after the conclusion of the European Championships.

According to the edition of Bild that was published today, the headline reads, “De Ligt is back! Just for how much longer?

It has been reported by the German source that the Dutch international has returned to Bayern Munich; however, information on his future with the club is yet unknown.

The outstanding player, who is 24 years old, was an integral part of the Bavarian team that came close to eliminating Real Madrid from the UEFA Champions League a year ago in the semifinals of the competition.

Over the course of the European Championships, however, he did not play for the Netherlands for even a single minute.

After a three-week hiatus, De Ligt has returned to the pitch, but not before reaching an agreement with Manchester United. He has been well rested and has returned to the pitch.

According to Bild, Bayern Munich is interested in selling the central defender who once played for Juventus. His personal arrangements with the Old Trafford club have already been agreed upon.

Despite this, Manchester United has not yet made the initial offer of £42.6 million, which is equivalent to 50 million euros, in order to complete the transaction this summer.

De Ligt has expressed his desire to get back together with Erik ten Hag, the previous manager of Ajax, who presented him with the captain’s armband while he was still a teenager.

Is it your opinion that Manchester United should pay the asking price in order to seal his signing now that Leny Yoro is sidelined with an injury?
