“He’ll unveiled today”: Journalist reveals Man United has everything done to sign 26-years old world-class player, reveals deal will be finalized today

This summer transfer season, Bayern Munich appears to be oblivious to Manchester United’s apparent lack of interest in one of its players, and it appears that one defender may be headed to Old Trafford.

Not Matthijs de Ligt, that’s for sure.

Rather, it appears like the Red Devils are getting closer to finalising a deal for Bayern right-back Noussair Mazraoui.

Journalist Santi Aouna claims that Manchester United has given the Moroccan international the assurance that a deal “will be finalised.”

Mazraoui is awaiting approval to depart Bayern’s preseason tour and sign with the Red Devils. Man Utd must yet complete one significant aspect of the deal before they can sign the 26-year-old.

Right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka of Manchester United is being pursued by West Ham United; however, the two teams have not yet finalised the terms of the deal. Since the player has decided to sign with the Hammers, the Red Devils will have more room to sign Mazraoui.

We reported a week ago that Bayern hopes to sell the adaptable full-back for about £25 million this summer. What kind of deal Manchester United will present to persuade the Bundesliga powerhouses to let go of the player is still to be seen.

Mazraoui plays primarily as a right-back, but he has experience playing on the left side of defence as well. Because PSG star Achraf Hakimi plays there, the 26-year-old frequently represents his country.

Since the Bayern Munich defender has already trained under Erik ten Hag (surprise, surprise!), he should have little trouble adjusting to the coach’s methods. This could therefore make it easier for him to adjust to English football, which could be a difficult issue otherwise.

Watch this space to see how long Man Utd takes to finalise the terms of both agreements. If Mazraoui is able to sign with the Red Devils, he will be an excellent addition to the team and a clear offensive upgrade over Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
