After agreeing to join Chelsea this summer for £51 million, manager Enzo Maresca now looks likely to sign the player, bringing Chelsea’s total of new signings to 13 after another hectic transfer window.

Chelsea spends big money during a busy transfer window.
Todd Boehly has officially signed a number of players recently, including Tosin Adarabioyo (Fulham), Estevao Willian (Palmeiras), Omari Kellyman (Aston Villa), Renato Veiga (FC Basel), Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (Leicester City), Marc Guiu (Barcelona), Caleb Wiley (Atlanta United), Filip Jorgensen (Villarreal), and Aaron Anselmino (Boca Juniors). A few more are now expected to follow.

Samu Omorodion, a 20-year-old striker for Atletico Madrid, has also agreed to a £34.5 million deal with Chelsea. He will sign a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge after the club agreed to allow Conor Gallagher leave.

Gabriel Mec and Mike Penders are reportedly likely to join Chelsea as well, according to Fabrizio Romano. This would add to Maresca’s ever-expanding crop of youthful talent as the west Londoners strive to assemble a team for the future.

Chelsea and Antonio Conte’s team have been in negotiations for the signing of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen since last week, but there is still time to come to a decision.

Reputable reporters like Matt Law of The Telegraph are unwilling to completely rule out the idea that Chelsea would recruit Omorodion and Osimhen as Maresca’s team looks to bolster their offensive line in front of the vital 2024–2025 Premier League season. Throughout the summer, Chelsea has also been searching for a new senior winger. However, they were unable to capture Michael Olise, who signed a contract to join Bayern Munich.

Although Olise’s journey across London was rumoured to be motivated by the possibility of a part-exchange deal, Chelsea was predicted to deploy makeweights like Raheem Sterling in their pursuit of the 22-year-old.

Romano claims that Maresca’s men have now found a replacement star wide player, as they were compelled to pursue other targets.

Pedro Neto has agreed to join Chelsea and is expected to be signed.
The renowned transfer reporter shared the news of Pedro Neto’s signing with Wolves on Friday night, delivering his well-known “here we go.”

In extremely unexpected transfer news, Neto has agreed to join Chelsea in a deal worth an initial £51 million, ending the team’s search for a winger.

In his 24 appearances in all competitions for Wolves last season, the Portugal international notched three goals and eleven assists, but his dubious injury history at Molineux may raise questions.

But Maresca should benefit greatly from the 24-year-old’s skill and proven Premier League experience when he’s healthy and available.
