Arsenal ARE BACK in talks to get summer transfer deal done for premier league’s most ‘WANTED’ striker next week

Despite numerous media reports in recent days suggesting that Mikel Arteta may be amenable to keeping the star player at the club, Arsenal and Marseille are still in talks on Eddie Nketiah.

Over the previous two seasons, Nketiah has been a consistent starter for Mikel Arteta; however, the majority of his games have come off the bench, and the team may decide to let him go in the coming weeks.

For the upcoming campaign, Mikel Arteta’s attacking lineup will include Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus. There is a lot of speculation that the team will look to sign another attacker by the end of the transfer window.

Because of this, there has been persistent media conjecture that Marseille has extended an offer to the striker to join Ligue 1 this summer. More recently, there have been tidings that Nketiah has been sold on Marseille’s project and that the player and the club are having a good time negotiating a deal.

The SUN now claims that ARSENAL and the French powerhouses are back in negotiations over a season-long loan deal with an estimated £25 million required upfront.

The talks are still ongoing, and Marseille has not yet agreed to those terms despite having made an initial offer of about £17 million for the player last month.

It’s thought that personal terms of a five-year contract are already agreed upon.

Roberto De Zerbi, the manager of Marseille and a former Brighton manager, is a big fan of Nketiah, a 25-year-old academy product from Hale End who only managed 10 Premier League starts the previous season.

Reporter Iomie Stanley came out amid all the rumours and speculation, telling the striker to seize the chance to move to Marseille and become the team’s top striker. He told icfootballnews: “I’ve watched him at Arsenal over the seasons and he is a very good striker that can score goals.”

“He has good skill, is quick around the box, and releases shoots swiftly. I believe he will score goals in the French League, possibly quite a few, which will propel him to the next level of the game.

“This is the action he needs to take this summer.
