Eddie Howe makes a fresh transfer claim for Newcastle United as negotiations for a sixth summer signing progress. “Based on this condition we are working on, i think we will…….”
Eddie Howe is hopeful that before the summer transfer window ends, Newcastle United will sign “at least one player.”

In this window, the Magpies have already signed five players. In a trade that saw Elliot Anderson go the other way, Odysseas Vlachodimos arrived from Nottingham Forest, while Lloyd Kelly and John Ruddy joined on free transfers from AFC Bournemouth and Birmingham City.

Will Osula, a new addition to United, cost £10 million with the possibility of add-ons raising the total to £15 million. Lewis Hall, a Chelsea loan, was made permanent for an initial £28 million.

Regarding the last three weeks of the transfer window, Howe stated, “I think it’s important to stay calm; there’s no point in any other emotion.” We’ll make an effort to choose wisely in light of the situation we find ourselves in.

“This year, the window has been a little slower, but it appears to be picking up now, and we hope to add at least one more player.” We’ll observe how events develop.

Despite having two bids rejected, Newcastle and Crystal Palace are still in talks about Marc Guehi. If Newcastle approves, the Eagles’ asking price of £65 million for the centre back would be a club record.

Enhancing the right forward position is also a top objective, although given Newcastle’s financial power is still restricted by Premier League Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR), this may depend on outgoing transfers.

Howe went on to say, “We already have a great squad, so for us, it has to be about quality over numbers. It’s difficult to recruit new members who can take the organisation to new heights. There aren’t many players available who can improve us.
