Manchester United are ready to sever their connection with the wingback.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka, the right-back for Manchester United, has begun his medical examination in preparation for his intended transfer to West Ham. As to a report from Sky Sports, the transfer cost has been ‘agreed upon’ and is estimated to be about £15 million.

The Red Devils recruited the Londoner in 2019 after he attracted their attention with his performance for Crystal Palace. He has since made 190 appearances for the North West team in all competitions. By severing connections with the 26-year-old Wan-Bissaka, Manchester United may create room and allocate resources in their team to facilitate the entry of new players. By selling him now, the team at Old Trafford avoids the risk of losing him for no financial gain when his contract expires in June 2025. This decision provides a positive advantage for the team.

The ex-England young international ascended through the academy hierarchy at Crystal Palace and consistently featured at many junior levels. Subsequently, he made his inaugural appearance in the first team in 2016 and proceeded to participate in a total of 46 matches before relocating to a northern region.

Wan-Bissaka’s performance has been inconsistent in recent years, and a move to West Ham would likely benefit him. It is a decision that often benefits all parties concerned. Since his arrival at United half a decade ago, he has played a crucial role in their victories in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup, in addition to leading them to the final of the Europa League. Last term, they achieved an 8th-place finish in the Premier League, and he participated in 22 league matches.

West Ham appointed Julen Lopetegui, a former Wolves manager, as a replacement for David Moyes. They are considering Wan-Bissaka as a potential addition to strengthen their defensive unit. In addition, they have acquired players such as Crysencio Summerville, Niclas Fullkrug, Luis Guilherme, Guido Rodríguez, Jean-Clair Todibo, and Max Kilman during this transfer period.

Wan-Bissaka was excluded from Manchester United’s team for the Community Shield final, in which they were defeated by Manchester City in a penalty shootout over the weekend. That implied that an exit was approaching steadily.

Although they ultimately lost to Manchester City in a penalty shootout, Erik ten Hag expressed his desire to focus on the good aspects of the game and stated, “I was extremely satisfied.” Within thirty minutes, our competitiveness intensified, and we actively engaged in the battle with great enthusiasm, which is a crucial expectation we have for our players. The performance was quite commendable, and we can carry this momentum into the upcoming week [against Fulham].

The commencement of the league is of utmost significance. There are some beneficial aspects we may derive from this game, which can instill confidence in us. However, it may also evoke a slight sense of discomfort or unease. If you find yourself in a situation where you are ahead both in the game and in the penalties, it is certain that you will experience the anguish associated with it. We came extremely close, but we did not emerge victorious and secure a prize.

He stated, “We are embarking on the upcoming season.” I am quite satisfied with the new arrangement. We are collaborating effectively. The club has consistently performed well, but I believe there is room for improvement. Based on the pre-season and today’s performance, I believe there are some positive aspects to take away. However, I believe that if we improve our efficiency in both attack and defense, we have the potential to become a successful team.
