OFFICIAL NOW: Arsenal announce the signing of £70m superstar who gave pep Guardiola tough time jn the league last season, player is already heading to London for Medical schedule to hold today

Officially, Arsenal has signed a £70 million superstar who struggled in the league the previous season. The player is currently en route to London for a scheduled medical examination, which is scheduled to take place today.
Miguel Delaney of The Independent claims that Arsenal may recruit a new offensive player before the transfer market shuts on Friday night.
This summer, the Gunners have only added Mikel Merino, Riccardo Calafiori, and David Raya. They have till tomorrow to sign a versatile forward.
Delaney now claims that the London giants are interested in signing Sterling from Chelsea, but the Gunners’ refusal to pay a cost makes a deal difficult.
At £325,000 a week, Sterling may have to leave Chelsea or sign a season-long loan deal where the Blues will reimburse a portion of his salary.
The Gunners are willing to give him a package worth approximately £150,000 every week.
Since they were teammates at Manchester City, Sterling and manager Mikel Arteta had a close bond. According to reports, the Spaniard thinks he may be a positive influence and enjoys his demeanour.
The Englishman, who has been called “world-class” by City’s official website, is also aware of Arsenal’s tactical philosophy because of the playing style’s resemblance to Pep Guardiola’s.
In addition to Sterling, the opportunity to sign Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman has also been extended to the Gunners. The Frenchman works for the German powerhouses and makes about £300,000.
Sterling is more likely to join with Arsenal than Coman.
With a more expansive Champions League schedule, the Gunners have a busy schedule. The team needs to control Bukayo Saka’s workload and have a reliable backup.
Over the past year, Reiss Nelson has made brief appearances off the bench, but his performances have not impressed. Saka has to be covered by someone more dependable for Arsenal.
Coman and Sterling are both excellent choices, but because of their close friendship, Arteta might choose to go with the former. The 29-year-old is used to the way that the team is now playing.
Arsenal would be more likely to select him over Coman, who has spent the majority of his career injured, if he were to take a significant wage reduction. Last season, he missed 25 games due to several injuries.
Due of Gabriel Jesus’s unfortunate injury history, Arsenal would prefer not to sign another attacker with a dubious past.
The Gunners appear to have a busy deadline day as they try to replace Aaron Ramsdale as custodian by signing Joan Garcia of Espanyol.
