DEADLINE DAY: Man United confirms DOUBLE transfer signings, registered both for squad to face Liverpool tomorrow- Squad number is confirmed

Manchester United has a short window of time to complete their summer transfer business.
The 23-year-old Manuel Ugarte has already arrived in the UK, and it is anticipated that he will soon complete his £42.3 million move from PSG. United has until 11 p.m. on Friday to finalise that transaction, but Ugarte must register by midday in order to be available for Sunday afternoon’s match against rival Liverpool.

The 23-year-old will enter through the doors alongside Noussair Mazraoui, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, and Joshua Zirkzee as United increases their summer spending over £180 million. While Jadon Sancho remains uncertain, Academy graduate Scott McTominay is getting closer to joining Napoli.

It’s believed that Chelsea and Juventus are keeping an eye on Sancho. After a return stint at Borussia Dortmund last season, United is open to selling him permanently or sending him out on loan once more.

When McTominay officially departs, he will release the No. 39 shirt. That’s not exactly a first-team pick typically, but Sancho’s No. 25 might draw attention from potential deadline day acquisitions.

When Mazraoui, De Ligt, Yoro, and Zirkzee finished their moves to Old Trafford this summer, they were given the numbers No.3, No.4, No.15, and No.11, respectively. If anyone else joins them between now and Friday night at 11 p.m., it will be difficult to get a spot, which shows how well along United is with its squad planning.

Right now, the available shirt numbers are No. 13, No. 19, No. 26, No. 27 No. 28, and No. 29. The 30s, 40s, and 50s have a tonne of options as well, and Sancho and McTominay, who are leaving, could be able to change their shirt numbers.
