Fee Agreed: Finally, Arsenal gives in to fan pressure and agrees to sign a celebrity to replace the player that fans don’t want (Amymore). Player Already Bid Farewell

That being said, Miguel Delaney of The Independent says Arsenal could get a new striking player before the transfer window ends on Friday night.

Only David Raya, Riccardo Calafiori, and Mikel Merino have been signed by the Gunners this summer. They could get a forward with a lot of different skills before tomorrow’s deadline.

Delaney now says that the London giants want to sign Sterling from Chelsea, but it will be hard to make a deal since the Gunners don’t want to pay any fee.

Sterling makes £325,000 a week, so he might have to break his deal with Chelsea or go on loan for a season while Chelsea pays some of his wages.

The Gunners are ready to give him a weekly salary of about £150,000.

Michael Arteta, the manager, is good friends with Sterling from when they played together at Manchester City. The Spaniard is said to like his attitude and think he could be a good influence on him.

The Englishman, who City’s official website calls “world-class,” also knows how Arsenal’s defensive strategy works because their style of play is similar to Pep Guardiola’s.

On top of Sterling, Arsenal has also been given the chance to sign Kingsley Coman from Bayern Munich. The French player makes about £300,000 a week at the German giants.

Sterling is more likely to be signed by Arsenal than Coman.
The Gunners have a busy schedule because they are in a bigger version of the Champions League. The club needs a good back-up choice for Bukayo Saka so that he doesn’t get too busy.

The Gunners graduate Reiss Nelson has only played briefly off the bench over the past year. Arsenal needs a more steady player to stand in for Saka.

There are good choices between Sterling and Coman, but Arteta might choose Sterling because he has a good friendship with him. The 29-year-old is also used to the way the game is played now.

Arsenal is more likely to pick him over Coman, who has been hurt a lot over the course of his career, if he is willing to take a huge pay cut. Last season, he missed 25 games because of illnesses.

Being hurt a lot has been hard for Arsenal with Gabriel Jesus, and they wouldn’t want to bring in another attacker with a bad track record of getting hurt.

There are a lot of deadline day deals coming up for Arsenal. They are also trying to sign Espanyol custodian Joan Garcia to replace Aaron Ramsdale.
