BID ACCEPTED: Man United accept Chelsea swap deal proposal involving FOUR Blues player for only Sancho

While they continue to talk about a deal for Raheem Sterling, Manchester United has made an unexpected bid for another Chelsea player.

Enzo Maresca, the new Blues manager, has instructed Sterling to leave Stamford Bridge, and the Red Devils have shown interest in recruiting him.

Manchester United is reportedly considering a deadline-day approach for Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka, another player the west Londoners may be able to offload before the 11 p.m. deadline, according to Sky Sports.

Chukwuemeka was acquired by Chelsea from Aston Villa in the summer of 2022, and during his debut campaign at Stamford Bridge, he participated in 14 Premier League games.

Under new manager Maresca, the 20-year-old, who struggled to get first-team appearances the previous season, has now appeared in every Chelsea matchday squad.

Arsenal currently seems to be Sterling’s most likely destination, despite Chelsea’s previous discussions to sell the winger to Manchester United.

Nonetheless, a deal between the Blues and United is still anticipated, as Jadon Sancho gets closer to making an unexpected transfer to Stamford Bridge.

His intended move to west London will be a stand-alone agreement unrelated to any possible Chukwuemeka, an England U20 international, transfer.

Before the summer transfer window ends, Chelsea is willing to let go of a number of players, including Chukwuemeka. Jamie Redknapp also said he “feels sorry” for a number of the players in the Stamford Bridge team.
