Harry Kane sent Kieran Trippier a touching message after the Tottenham player announced that he was retiring from international football.

Kane writes to Trippier
Used to play for Spurs and England together
England lost the 2024 Euro final.
After England came in second place at Euro 2024, Trippier said he would no longer play for his country. The right back played in 54 games for England and scored one goal, which came in their 2018 World Cup semi-final loss to Croatia.
Finally, Kane sent a sweet message to his old Tottenham teammate. The Bayern Munich striker made sure to wish his friend a happy birthday on social media. The two have played together 130 times, both for their club and their country.
Lee Carsley has put Kane in his first team as England’s interim boss. The next game for the Three Lions is on September 7 against the Republic of Ireland.
