Chelsea owner disclose shocking decision about pochettino future at Stamford bridge
Despite speculation that Mauricio Pochettino may lose his position, Chelsea has decided to extend his tenure as manager, according to Frank McAvennie, a former striker for West Ham.
Despite making it to the League Cup final and losing to Liverpool, the Blues have had yet another disappointing season under Pochettino, as they currently sit in 11th place in the Premier League standings.
Will Chelsea give Mauricio Pochettino an additional year there?
Chelsea’s 3-2 victory over Newcastle United on Monday night has relieved some of the pressure on Pochettino, even though they are currently only one spot higher than they finished their terrible 2022–2023 campaign.
Because of the lack of success, there have been rumors that Pochettino might be replaced by Todd Boehly in the summer, but McAvennie believes they will give him more time to shape his team.
“Next year, I believe Chelsea will give him,” McAvennie stated to Football Insider. He will likely have the summer to sign more players, in my opinion.
“He must be having a terrible time there.Although Pochettino is well-known, he isn’t exactly making waves in that regard.
